nonprototypical predication construction (cxn)
a.k.a. nonverbal predication
the predication of concepts other than action concepts. The types of nonprototypical predication most commonly described include predication of object concepts, property concepts, location, and possession. Example: Frieda is an engineer, an instance of object predication, is an example of nonprototypical predication. (Section 10.1.1)
